Bunny Magic

Bunny Magic turns one of stage magic’s most familiar tricks upside down. Instead of being pulled from a magician’s hat, the rabbit takes control of the performance itself. Perched above a top hat that functions as the mug’s warmer, it appears with a carrot, playing cards and all the confidence of a seasoned showman. Its own black hat forms the removable lid. By building the mechanics of the illusion directly into the object, the work transforms a functional ceramic vessel into a small sculptural performance.
